Blitzen is a flash signaling app usingthecamera and flash on your Android Phone. Shared ride (ridesharing)providers, Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, etc., get within roughly200-300feet, it's difficult to signal the driver, of your exactlocation.This becomes more significant in crowds (train stations,airports,events), night time and bad weather (reduced visibility).Each alternative taxi service has a simple flash code basedonthe service name. An example is Uber's flash code,dot-dot-dash,Morse code for the letter "U".Flash On button is ambidextrous, one touch provides, theselectedservice code, 5 coded flash sequences. User must touch theFlash Onbutton for each additional group of flash sequences, thecell phonewill "sleep", to conserve power, if you simply put inyour pocket orpurse. A convenience light feature, provides light,for Blitzenusers. The light remains on for 3-4 minutes andautomatically shutsoff, to conserve power.Built in Options: Alternate Cab Service Selection, About,Helpscreens and a convenience light. Blitzen does not need WiFi orcelldata connection, for operation.
